11 big projects lined up for Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani’s Excel Entertainment; includes Mirzapur 3 and Fukrey 3!

While the entire nation was busy celebrating 20 years of Dil Chahta Hai and the return of Farhan Akhtar as a director with the Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Katrina Kaif, and Alia Bhatt starrer ‘Jee Le Zaraa’, producers Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani decided to treat fans with the list of upcoming movies and web shows under their production house Excel Entertainment; and trust us, it is no less than a dream!

The production banner will be backing a total of 11 projects in the coming months out of which 4 are big-screen films and 7 are promising web shows. Check out the list:

1. Director Ravi Udyawar’s ‘Yudra’, an action-thriller-romance starring Siddhant Chaturvedi and Malvika Mohanan in the lead. The film will go on-floors on the 5th of September in Portugal.

2. Director Ashutosh Gowariker’s ‘Pukar, a contemporary action-flick starring Farhan Akhtar as a forest-ranger. The film will go on-floors in November this year.

3. Director Mrigdeep Singh’s much-awaited ‘Fukrey 3’, the third-installment to the ‘Fukrey’ series, starring Ali Fazal, Varun Sharma, Manjot Singh and Pulkit Samrat.

4. Farhan Akhtar’s directorial comeback ‘Jee Le Zara’, a girls road-trip flick.

5. Amazon Prime’s ‘Inside Edge 3’, slated to release later this year.

6. Director Shujaat Saudagar’s official adaptation of Hussain Zaidi’s book ‘Dongri To Dubai’ into a web series.

7. ‘Eternally Confused and Eager To Love’, a love-story for Netflix India.

8. Director Karan Anshuman’s period drama ‘Queen of the Hills’ for Netflix India.

9. Director Reema Kagti’s crime-thriller web show ‘Fallen’ starring Sonakshi Sinha, Gulshan Devaiah, Vijay Varma and Sohum Shah for Amazon Prime.

10. The second season of Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti’s ‘Made In Heaven’.

11. And finally, the much-awaited ‘Mirzapur 3’ starring Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, Shweta Tripathi, and others.
